Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and his master’s degree and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. During his corporate career with Frito-Lay, the company behind internationally recognized brands such as SunChips and Fritos, Mike is professionally credited with inventing SunChips.
