At 24, Michael “MJ” Libby is beginning the next chapter of a family real estate legacy with TarantoTeam Real Estate Advisors at Coldwell Banker Realty.
Born and raised in Naples, MJ grew up with a firsthand appreciation for the communities, lifestyles, and relationships that make Southwest Florida an exceptional place to call home.
As the grandson of TarantoTeam leaders Mike and Lauren Taranto, he is proud to join a family real estate tradition that has served the Southwest Florida market since 1999.
While his connection to the TarantoTeam is personal, MJ brings professional experience of his own.
Before becoming a real estate advisor, he spent three years as a Regional Support Specialist within Coldwell Banker’s luxury real estate network.
This experience helped him build a strong foundation in client service, marketing coordination, technology, organization, and the behind-the-scenes precision required to support successful real estate transactions.
Today, MJ serves as Special Assistant to the TarantoTeam, helping coordinate daily operations, listings, marketing initiatives, client communications, and the many details that keep transactions moving forward.
His technology-driven mindset and passion for productivity allow him to approach every responsibility with efficiency, responsiveness, and careful attention to detail.
Whether supporting a buyer, assisting a seller, or connecting someone with the right member of the team, MJ is committed to making every interaction organized, informative, and personal.
MJ’s professional approach is also shaped by eight years as an amateur baseball pitcher. The game taught him the importance of preparation, composure, accountability, and performing under pressure.
He now brings those same qualities to real estate by studying every opportunity, anticipating the next move, and staying focused on the client’s goals from the first conversation through closing.
Outside of real estate, MJ is an avid golfer who enjoys the country clubs and courses throughout Collier County.
He is also a dedicated fitness enthusiast whose training combines athletic performance and bodybuilding.
His connection to baseball remains strong, and he continues to support former teammates competing at the collegiate and professional levels throughout Florida.
